Storytelling

When you're lucky enough to be located literally on the towpath of the Canal de l'Ourcq, storytelling comes naturally.

Water is life, and it was precisely to bring drinking water to Parisians that this canal was sought after by all the French kings since François 1st. It was also used for our capital's commercial development, particularly during the Industrial Revolution. But it is also the poetry of its landscapes that has inspired so many artists, past and present.

Irrigo draws its inspiration from this past to breathe new life into the area, encouraging projects and fostering exchanges.

To live Irrigo is to have a canal spirit.
