Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1876, and it would not be presumptuous to say that it was a major breakthrough.
A few years later, in 1925, a building was erected at 8-10 rue Jobbe-Duval: it was to be one of the first telephone exchanges in Paris, and would remain so for almost a century...
As this emblematic building prepares to embark on its second life, it seemed only right to pay tribute to the man by following this historic copper wire.
